New system...CyberpowerPC, Ryzen 5-3600, XFX RX-580 8gb, 32gb sys ram. This machine is hell to get it to even boot up. When it does, I can play War Thunder for hours with no problem with graphics maxed out. Close War Thunder, back to windows....BAM...screen will go black for a few seconds, system might reboot on its own, screen might freeze and then go black, and come back on. Only does this in windows...Any ideas anyone????

Hard to say. Could be a handful of things.

RAM
Windows
Drivers

If it only happens when in Windows, I'd suggest trying to boot the system in Safe Mode. This tells Windows to load up with just the minimum files it needs to function. Extra files and drivers that aren't required will not be used. If you don't have any issues in Safe Mode, then it could be a driver issue, such as the driver for your GPU.

Only in Windows you say, so Linux is good?
Edit: ahh, wrong wording from your side, you have a windows only system (not a dual boot with Linux ) and when it is not busy wasting time playing games it misbehave.

Might be PSU. But with so little information, no way of knowing.

PSU seem to be able to deliver the ampere needed. Try @neatfeatguy suggestion.

Please, please fill out your system spec. The long start up time suggest RAM problem.

Thanks...did great in Safe Mode...no to reinstall all the drivers....thanks again, great advice.
