I've never used one of these current MAX versions of this cooler...but the older Scythe Mugen 2, Rev. B is my all-time favorite air cooler. If they've kept the quality up....this seems like a decent buy. I can remember paying over $50 for mine...and that was 10 years ago.

Best,

Liquid Cool

I would never hesitate to purchase anything from Scythe. You'd be hard-pressed to find a company with better support ,& who is more willing to stand behind their product and put their product where their mouth is so to speak. I've never had one of their coolers ,but I have had just about every model of fan they make.

Been pleased with my Susanoo cooler, has handled everything I've thrown at it and laughed.
The Mugen for that price isn't a bad buy.
