Personally I see QLC as no go. I would not use QLC if I got one for free, feel like it is to much stretch in putting more data in same silicon. But, if you ok with QLC it seems like a good deal.

So, QLC means "Quad Level" and TLC is "Tri Level". The QLC drives tend to be larger capacity, but because there's less room for error, there tends to be more errors, which leads to more "writes", which leads to shorter drive life.
That is the narrative. There is not enough data on any SSD to statistically support that. I have SSDs like the OCZ Revodrive3 that are still fine but I also have the 660P which blows that away and is still working with 100% life left in HWinfo64 even though the Revodrive is SLC and 660P QLC. For me the truth is that QLC allows for larger drives at reduced production costs but that has not translated the same way HDD did. Even a 4 TB QLC drive will be North of $500 but 1 TB will be $89. To be honest the most important thing in buying NAND flash is the quality and strength of the Brand and subsequently warranty.
