    can I offer my advice...?

I assume you want the BIOS because you don't have it, so my advice to EVERYONE before they flash, mod, mess with their cards BIOS is.......................

SAVE THE ORIGINAL BIOS FIRST, AND KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE

There I've said it, I can sleep soundly now.

2 hours you say, wow. fairly new card so the BIOS may not be floating around there yet

    clem says thanks.

    1. there is not the original bios from asus in the database
2 i tried to flash bioses from other producer but it didnt work! the error was: something with failed id's, then i searched how to solve the problem with the ids and i found that i should go to cmd and type atiwinflash -unlockrom0 and so on but that didnt work too!

so i posted if anybody has the original asus hd 6950 1gb bios!

and btw: i saved my bios but deleted it :shadedshu! (i also tried tools to get deleted data but didnt work )

well you can try and force flash but, that's risky if its from a different vendor, why can't you edit the current BIOS fitted, and oh, W1zzard, it's not there, see my linked post above
