I bought this product twice. As TX-600 and Tx-700. Both had coil whine. And in the quiet environment, it could be heard even from 2 meters away. Even though the Corsair Rmx has a fan, it's quieter.

And i have a Seasonic 750w Prime with a fan, whats your point ?, which works with or without fan with 0 coils or other sound issue's.

Some times shit happens, some time a bad apple is just that and it happens.

That sucks and it kinda defeats the purpose of a fanless PSU, which I guess most people buy for silence.

I have an old 400W Seasonic fanless. It does have some coil whine, but it's much quieter than the coil whine from my motherboard.

If you're into silent computers, coil whine is a real plague. And it seems no company takes it seriously enough to eliminate it from their products.

Hi @crmaris ! You definitely had defective unit. If you compare photos of Nightjar NJ700, this Seasonic, but from other sites, and photos from this review - you can clearly see missing components.

I purchased a Seasonic Prime Fanless TX-700 in January, 2024. The unit I purchased from Newegg exhibits zero coil whine/chirping and it has the two capacitors that are missing in the pictures from this review.
