Yeah so this was another one of those hyped up games I believe at E3. I got accepted into the Closed beta.

Picture UT3/Halo combined = Section 8.

Nice different layout with how you spawn. You drop from a ship, onto the battlefield via a Droppod. Which is a cool touch.. But other than that. It's not worth $50 when it comes out.

Unless there is some super cool feature that is suppose to be implemented at release, then it's not gonna be worth much. Just another FPS.

Trying CrimeCraft next.

Same^ Does this game have any story? I read section 8 and thought maby it was about a soldier who is going insane.

I'll get some screenies up in a bit. It's definitely pretty I'll give it that much.

Weapons consist of your basic assault rifle/sniper/shotgun/pistol/heavy gunner etc. Basic stuff.

Only option i am able to test is the Multiplayer. All I know at the moment is it's 2 faction's against each other.. CORE and ARM i think if I remember. They have suit's like Crysis suit's but a bit more mechanical. You get jet pack's, and speed boost running all by default. They have limited vehicles at the time.

It's a lot like Tribe's 2 but on a smaller scale I guess.

I'll post a video of FRAP's tonight as well give you guys a tad bit of gameplay.

Yeah i was thinking the same. Last one i did made it VERY clear. I will say it was of a old ish TV series but was nothing like it lol..

Wow this game is really cool! It's like the Assault campain on UT2k4. The standard movement is a bit slow though, hopefully it will be a bit faster when it goes out of beta.

The Section 8 beta blows nuts, slow movement, weak weapons, too boring.

At least it looks nice and runs good.

Ive got it on the 360. The Campaign mode is terrible as its basically the Multiplayer game but against Bots (a bit like Unreal Tournament III) But the MP mode isnt too bad. It has some good weapons and vehicles..........but its no CoD/Unreal (if you get what I mean)

PS: I see some peeps are saying about how slow your character moves. This is true, it is a bit slugish, but after a while you go into 'sprint' mode which speeds thigs up.....but it is quite hard to stop and shoot whilst in this mode
