Those benchmarks make it look more like X850XT is almost equal to the 8600GTS, synthetics aside.

Hmm, something that I find amusing is that in Oblivion, where the X850xt beats the 8600, HDR is on. Since the X850Xt can't render HDR, then it would run much better since it's not rendering it.

Hence why it's beating a 7900GTX.
