if your going way cheap, go amd :p cause even their 50 dollar chip will own that pentium d.

I'll put personal money against that claim... My Intel 915D is killing my friends x2, but I guess good ram and a much better mainboard has something to do with that also. Plus windows xp pro tuned and cleaned, vs xp home fat and messed up...

Well I would consider buying that compuer for about $600. BTW it doesn't matter just how much something costs, but it's relation to performance and price compared to others.
