Was swapping my ST45SF-G for a SF600 when I took a closer look at the 850 EVO I had pulled out and realized that a plastic bit had chipped off of the power connector portion. I drew something in paint to illustrate this:
The part highlighted in red in the lower half of the drawing is what broke off. It's a ways away from the last gold contact on that side (obviously there aren't actually that many contacts on the drive, I was just approximating), and so far my rig is completely normal. Should I be worried?
If I were to try and RMA the drive would Sammy accept it? It's still well within warranty otherwise.
