I have a spare router I’d like to connect to my ISP router as a separate network for smart devices and other untrustworthy stuff I’d rather not be able to interact with and see my local network.
My knowledge in networking is limited but from what I can understand all I’d need to do is DMZ the IP of the second router and then it should just communicate directly with the internet without passing through my local network right? Also being DMZ it would avoid a double NAT?
Any advice is appreciated!
