My computer is having a very bad 3.3V reading. In idle it is around 3.09-3.12V. But while gaming or stress, it drops a lot. I was playing Grid 2 for 2 hrs straight and this is what AIDA reports while it was being played:
You can clearly see that the 3.3V has gone down to 2.95V. Now this happened before also. And it was always fixed after I pulled out the 24 pin EATX connector from the motherboard and plugged it in again. Then again after 7-14 days, the 3.3V drops again. I do the same thing and again it becomes normal. Now this has become extremely annoying. This happened on my old Asus M4A88TD M-EVO/USB3 motherboard too but at a lower frequency. Any suggestions?
Ps. I know my PSU is not that good but at present, I think I cannot afford a new one. Repair solutions are warmly welcome.
The system is working normally though.
