TL;DR:
Replaced PSU and Motherboard, both didn't work. Quite likely the CPU is busted.
Also CPU was a 2nd hand ES, so no way to call up Intel for replace it.
And yeah, I don't have a large disposable income as of now.
Worst, a lot of my work depends on the workstation and I am already behind.
I am not sure whether I should stick onto this X99 platform and get another used Intel CPU, or just say FUCK it and go for an entire new platform.
I do a large amount of bioinformatics so I definitely need high core count platforms.
Also I will only be needing a CPU and motherboard. I have everything else.
