You're welcome Sgt. Steiger's
UPDATE:
This motherboard turned out to be defective and upon a mention of returning it, made this guy mad as hell, very rude & repulsive.
Explanation:
I was mad, I won't deny it. Mostly with myself. I took a chance at trading with Duel; I shouldn't have. You live and learn.
Short story:
Duel had the motherboard for almost a whole month, he tells me it won't POST. I attempt to help him with troubleshooting even though I didn't offer a warranty and I have to take his word that he will be actually troubleshooting and not just saying he is troubleshooting. Duel demands his money back.
My demands for a refund were simple:
- Duel needs to open a PayPal account.
- I'll send Duel a FULL refund.
- Duel can keep the motherboard. I didn't want it back.
Now why would you have a board for a whole month, claim it won't POST, and then ask for your money back?
Folks who have bought my stuff can vouch for me, my stuff is in at minimum GOOD condition.
Not two weeks before I sold that DFI P45-T3RS to Duel, I GAVE AWAY FOR FREE a DAMAGED DFI X48-T3RS to jeffro66 over at EVGA Forums Marketplace. I told him about the damage to the motherboard, how it happened, and that it didn't seem to effect the operation of the board. I didn't notice the damage until after removing the board from a cramped HTPC case.
I told him that if he wanted that board for free he had to pay shipping. jeffro66 agreed and understood.
I received a PM from jeffro66 that the motherboard was still in PERFECT running condition for his son. He was going to attempt a repair, but decided not to, and the mobo still works fine! DFI's were rock solid mobos.
If you can believe it, there is a longer version to my whole story with Duel. If you would like those details, I would be more than willing to provide them via PM.
I am not saying "Don't trade with Duel"; I am saying always be careful. I wasn't and I'll take full responsibility for this trade.
Just ask yourself one question. Why would cesthree (that's me)
GIVE AWAY a
KNOWN damaged motherboard (that is reported to still be working), and then
SELL a
SUPPOSED broken motherboard to Duel and charge him $75 for it?
It doesn't make sense. I really don't want to damage my trading reputation in any way, especially not intentionally.
Duel, since you won't reply to my last PM, the offer for a FULL refund still stands. You want your $75 back, I will send it as soon as you open a PayPal account. I still don't want the motherboard back.
Maybe I was a bit
callous when you asked for a refund, but I
still offered you a FULL refund where you get to KEEP the merchandise.
