Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-performance quality PC components and peripherals. Sharkoon now presents the Light² S, a gaming mouse that is extremely smooth to handle due to its low weight. The gaming mouse not only promises unrestricted freedom of movement, but also the symmetrical shape of the mouse makes it suitable for both right and left handers. The downloadable software also offers additional features for a high degree of customization.

Due to its completely symmetrical design, the Light² S can be used with either hand and is therefore suitable for both right-handers and left-handers. Corresponding to this, the Light² S has two thumb buttons on each of its sides. These can be freely assigned via the downloadable software, which allows the functions of all the mouse buttons to be modified to suit the user's needs. According to Sharkoon, because of the uniform shape of the gaming mouse, it should lie comfortably in the hand and, in conjunction with the special honeycomb structure, ensure a firm grip for both right-handed and left-handed users.

A Robust Lightweight
As the latest gaming mouse in the Light² range from Sharkoon, the Light² S also remains true to the tradition of the series and, thanks to the honeycomb structure of the housing, weighs only 78 grams. This should result in smooth handling and a noticeably feather-light feel. Nevertheless, according to the manufacturer, the mouse is very robust thanks to its well-designed housing and should therefore also be suitable for long periods of use.

Unrestricted Flexibility
According to the manufacturer, the light weight of the Light² S should allow quick and fluid movements at all times so that the user can always keep events under full control. The uncomplicated handling is also supported by the four mouse feet made of 100 percent PTFE, which allow the mouse to glide smoothly over the mouse pad and other surfaces. In addition, the ultra-flexible, textile braided cable should provide maximum flexibility.

Precise Handling
Perfect tracking and top degrees of precision are provided by the high-performance PixArt PAW3327 optical sensor. With a resolution of up to 6,200 DPI, the sensor should allow high-precision maneuvers and, using the Light² S software, can also be customized within five freely adjustable levels. With the help of the DPI switch, the levels can also be easily switched through at any time, always enabling situational adjustment according to different genres and usage behavior.

Varied Illumination
The atmospheric lighting of the Light² S is generated by a light strip running around the mouse. The strip sets colorful accents on the mouse body and emphasizes its streamlined design. In addition, the illuminated Sharkoon logo is recognizable as a subtle highlight through the honeycomb structure at the back of the mouse. Via the downloadable software of the Light² S, the lighting can also be customized with a wide selection of effects and colors from the entire RGB spectrum.

With the Light² 200 White Edition from the same product range, Sharkoon has also introduced another gaming mouse. This was launched on 22 October this year and corresponds to its black counterpart. At 62 grams, the Light² 200 White Edition is not only one of the lightest mice in the world but is also extremely accurate with its high-precision sensor of up to 16,000 DPI. With five mouse feet made of PTFE for very smooth gliding properties and a customizable modular design, the Light² 200 White Edition from Sharkoon provides technology at an e-sport level.

Price and Availability
The Sharkoon Light² S is now available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 24.99 euros, and the Sharkoon Light² 200 White Edition is available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 49.99 euros.

If these drilled-out/swiss-cheeze rodentia get any lighter, you'll have to turn down your fans to keep them from sucking them into your case or blowing them off your desk, hehehehehe :)

78g is not light enough to warranty those holes, stop using holes unless you are under 60g, it doesn't make ANY sense.

I want it to glide like a air hockey puck. Speaking of which I wonder if anyone has ever put their mouse on a air hockey table and tried it. I would think the tiny holes in the table would be a sensor problem unfortunately, but how it would feel would be fascinating to know.
