With the TG5 ATX PC case, Sharkoon introduces a gaudy Midi tower with the front and one side panel made from tempered glass, which is available in four different color versions and pre-installed with color matching 120 mm LED fans from the factory.

With the cable management system and cable terminals, all cabling can be concealed between the mainboard and the non-window side panel. The power supply as well as up to three 3.5" hard drives can be installed within the tunnel, which contains ventilation slots, on the bottom of the case.

The front panel is cableless designed and thus easy to remove. CPU coolers with a maximum height of 16.7 cm can be installed, with installation simplified thanks to a cut out in the mainboard tray. Maximum length for graphics cards is 40 cm. Maximum length for installing a power supply is 20.5 cm. Pre-installed dust filters, with the top panel dust filter attaching via magnet fasteners, protect the PC from contamination. Up to two 3.5" hard drives or two 2.5" HDD/SSDs can be decoupled mounted in the HDD cage. If necessary, the entire HDD cage with thumbscrews can be attached to the bottom of the tunnel and, thanks to practical oval hole cutouts, can be positioned up against the fans on the front panel. This way, more storage space is available for power supply cabling. Behind the mainboard, the TG5 provides two vertical supports, with convenient thumbscrews, for up to two additional 2.5" HDD/SSDs.

Optimized airflow is ensured thanks to the numerous air vents on each side of the front panel. Three 120 mm LED fans are pre-installed. Alternatively, suitable pre-drilled holes are provided for either two 140 mm fans or a 360 mm radiator. A pre-installed 120 mm LED fan is mounted on the rear panel or, optionally, replace it with a 120 mm radiator. The top panel offers room to attach either a 240 mm or 120 mm radiator with a total height of up to 6 cm, plus fan. Optionally, up to three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans can be mounted beneath the magnetic dust filter. The fans or radiators can be positioned perfectly thanks to the oval hole cutouts.

Audio connectors for microphone and headphones as well as two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports are located on the top of the front panel. The USB 3.0 ports are connected via a 19-pin mainboard connector, including alternative USB 2.0 plug, to ensure backward compatibility with older mainboards.

The Sharkoon TG5 ATX PC Case with either red, green, blue and white illuminated 120 mm LED fans are available for the suggested retail price of 69.90 euros from authorized retailers.

"Gaudy" hummm, 1st time I've heard that word used to describe pc hardware...

Not a bad looking case per se, but certainly not anything special either, more same ole same same imho...

gaudy definition: extravagantly bright or showy, typically so as to be tasteless. Actually, this isn't nearly as gaudy as most of their cases, and the LEDs can be turned off (maybe), or the fans can be changed.
