should I run my bt headphones with a basic bt dongle ?

I have w830bt headset
pretty basic,entry level bt set with nice sound quality and absolutely astonishing battery life
I'm running it on a basic $10 bt usb adapter that supports aptx and hi-speed bt.
using apo peace for some adjustments,it sounds pretty clean and distinctive in pretty much the whole range,though I gotta say it sounds the best for rock music,absolutely unique sound I have not heard on any of my previous speakers and headphones.sadly I do not listen to much rock,though I still love the headset.

is there any benefit from getting a better bt apdater ?
what about a bt dac like es100 ?

Do not change, if you are using wireless BT headphone the DAC is in the headphone itself. The usb adapter supports all necessary formats already.
ES100 is useful for wired headphones.

oh it lets you use wired as wireless,I get it now.

At work I use Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BTs they retail for like $200 and I use some random universal adapter that goes for $7 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0775YF36R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It sounds fine. Nothing to gain from crazy BT adapters as far as im concerned. Ill get the newer gen like 4.1 or something if Im in the market. I've seen no difference in quality though.
