Should I SLI GTX460's if I want 3D vision?

I was going to get a GTX480 but I am thinking of using SLI with 2 x GTX 460 but I plan on using Nvidia 3D vision.

I have never used SLI before, so my question is pretty stupid ^^

Will it have any effect on using Nvidia 3D vision? as in compatibility, performance etc.

Also how will 2 GTX 460 compare to 1 GTX 480?

I've read that only the 1GB version will compare to GTX480

but the cheaper 786MB Would fuckin own, not to sure on the 3D tho.

That is the answer to: how will 2 GTX 460 compare to 1 GTX 480? When it comes to 3D Vision, I don't know! The obvious thing is that 460 SLI scaling is very good, and they beat 480 in price and performance....

3d vision would cut your framerates to half from what ive seen.. so yeah, an SLi would be a good idea.
