should the 2 gpu's be running in Skyrim.

Hi I have just notices while playing Skyrim Special edition I heard a noise like a fan rubbing on one of my R9 290 but I noticed the bottom card none of the three fans were running should it take 2 R9 290 to run skyrim with everything turned up full it shows as 2 cards enabled in GPU-Z, its to late now but I will do the checks tomorrow and get back to you.

it definitely doesnt support SLI, it might not work in crossfire yet either.

use GPU-Z or afterburner and check the second GPU's load.

I tried Fallout 4 and both cards are working in it and the noise is coming from the middle fan on the top card when it is under pressure so I am going to see if it comes out if not I will try and clean it, hope it is not something else.

its merely that the game doesnt have crossfire and SLI profiles yet, run with lower settings til drivers catch up

Hi Mussels I was just curious about the 2nd card not being used it was the noise that was annoying and as I found out it is the middle fan of the top card, I hope it only needs cleaned, from what I have read the wires from the fan are soldered to the card.
