SilentiumPC hits it out of the park with the Grandis XE1236, bringing top-tier performance and low noise levels to an unheard-of budget friendly price. With the ability to improve performance even further using a third fan, this heavy-weight CPU cooler towers over its competition.

I know right? It might not be class leading but for the price it REALLY makes you take a hard look at air coolers compared to the typical AIO liquid coolers especially the single 120mm varieties.

I read this review in literally 6 seconds. I looked at the picture (1 second), and I looked at the price (1 second), then clicked to "a closer look" to confirm what the hell I was just looking at for $40 (2 seconds). Clicked "conclusion" (there must be a catch). POLAND! (2 seconds).

Thanks for the excellent review. :toast:

I wish they were more readily available worldwide or that Noctua would see this and make a slightly smaller version of the D15 that won't interfere with the first PCI-E Slot.

From the SilentiumPC website: Being a PC enthusiast or a gamer on a budget is an uneasy task, choosing all those high-end components, loads of RAM and powerful graphics usually leaves you with only a small amount of money to spend on decent case or power supply.
Seems ass-backwards. Surely PSU consideration should be first on that list.

Nice review even if SilentiumPC have their priorities screwed up.

People buy AIO coolers for a reason, price is generally not one of them.
