The Silicon Power XD80 uses a Phison E12 controller paired with 96-layer TLC flash from Toshiba. In our testing, the drive reached performance levels similar to the best PCIe Gen 3 SSDs. Priced at $240 for the 2 TB version, the Silicon Power XD80 is quite affordable, too.

I wouldn't use TLC for Chia. MLC at minimum. HDD would really have best endurance from what I understand.

Hi W1zz! Couple of small naming mistakes from the 2nd & 3rd paragraph, I assume they're all supposed to be the XD80:

"Today, we are taking a look at the Silicon Power XD80, which is the company's new high-performance PCIe Gen 3 TLC-based SSD that was announced last month. The XD70 is based on a combination of a Phison E12 controller paired with TLC flash from Toshiba. A UnilC DRAM chip provides 512 MB of storage for the mapping tables of the SSD.

The Silicon Power UD70 comes in capacities of 256 GB ($48), 512 GB ($78), 1 TB ($126), and 2 TB ($243). Endurance for these models is set to 380 TBW, 800 TBW, 1665 TBW, and 3115 TBW respectively. Silicon Power includes a five-year warranty with the XD80."

If you have sufficient MLC drives to run them in RAID probably; but otherwise it is better to just use the fastest SSDs available to plot as much before the network size has grown too large (it's already too large for me now LOL)
