This jack of all trades but master of none is an interesting user-friendly solution with acceptable performance and some visual flair.

I know two fans don't make a cooler twice as efficient, but it's amazing how some single fan solutions are more efficient than this.

Could this be another case of "it has two fans with RGB" to compensate for the somewhat "meh" (comparatively) performance?

Usually two fans just mean more noise. I've seen same temperatures with one, two, or three fans (Thermalright TY43) on my Phanteks PH-TC14PE.

Then that's a horribly constructed CPU cooler or there's no airflow in that case. An extra fan may reduce temps by 2-4 degrees with the proper setup.

Silverstone are very Chinese, not that much US/English-speaking influence in their design and marketing team, so it's possible that they don't understand that "hydro" is the Greek root for many European languages including English.

The cynic in me suggests that they could also be hoping that someone buys it from a listing alone thinking they're getting an ARGB watercooled AIO. It's probably not that though, people buy based on looks most of the time in these ARGB unicorn-sparkles and tempered glass times.

The "Hydro" in Hydrogon references to the element Hydrogen as with other air cooler in the lineup. Steve at Gamers Nexus has a video where he wondered about our product names and decided to interview us for explanation!
