single GTX560 (non Ti) vs dual 5850's (reference)

Wondering which set up would perform better all around. The single EVGA GTX560 is the non-Ti version and the dual 5850's are both reference cards.

The thing is, I am currently running the single 560 and have a possibility at a trade for dual 5850's. Just wondering if it would be worth the trade?

according to TPU vga charts a single 5850 is more or less equal to a GTX560 (loss in some games, wins in others), so i'm pretty sure a crossfire of 5850 will be the best setup.

5850 hands down, the 5850 is comparable in some tests to a 560. so two of them would be a huge win

+1 to the replies, a GTX560 is roughly equal to a HF5850, two should wipe the floor with a single 560. just as two 560's would do the same to a single 5850.

Moreover a dual 5850 set up is akin to a 5970 which I think edges it with a 580.

Speaking from experience (I'm running a 5850 CF), I've done all the research for you.

The 5850 CF is in a different league to an 560Ti. In fact its faster than the GTX 580, and a bit slower than the GTX 590.

LOL, the guy wanted to just trade me strait across for one of the 5850's! The card that I have is the retail EVGA GTX560 Duke version with all the crap in the box. I had to say no. He wanted my card and $175 for both 5850's! I thought he was kidding at first. LOLOL
