We built a crazy machine at work for database use and need to overclock it for 24/7 stable use. The rig has 20 intel 80gb SSD's which run in raid 0 spread over 4 areca PCIe 6gb/s Raid Cards. (madness i know!!! its not for me its for work lol)
Heres is the parts list:
Intel i7 970 (6 core, 12mb cache)
Asus Rampage Extreme III
24gb 1600mhz gskill ripjaws
20x Intel 80GB X25-Mainstream SSD
5x Icy Box 4 x 2.5" Dual Channel SAS/SATA HDD BACKPLANE
4X Areca ARC-1880ix-24 raid cards
ATI HD 5450 1GB
Corsair HX850 psu
Its living in an old shitty case at the moment, but we will sort one out probably on monday that we can put the 20SSD's into those icybox 5.24" bays. Also im looking at cases that we can fit triple rad's inside to get maximum stable OC out of that i7 chip.
My question is what would be a simple high performance watercooling loop that would be easy to put together and help us get 4ghz+ out of this processor for 24/7 use. Price is not that important as long as its not paying extra for silly gold plated shit with lights, if it costs more it should cost more due to its quality/performance etc
Any ideas?
