well i recently purchased 2 EVGA 9800gtx ssc + cards
at first all seemed ok, then i started to play games and see how much performance i gained and to my surprise it wasn't much at all,
my first thing is when i check my fan speeds (using the nvidia Ntune CP) right after my computer starts says its 0% fan speed, its not hot but i just found it odd, well then i jacked both fans up to 100% and i put my hand behind my computer to make sure they were blowing out alot of air and one card was blowing a considerable more amount of air then the other
second when i ran a GPU test on crysis all high settings 1680x1050 no AA i got an average of 27FPS(i find that hard to believe based on benchmarks iv seen)
iv reformatted, tryed my system with windows xp SP2 and windows vista SP1 and got the same outcome, im figuring maybe the one card is not working properly and its not making the SLI performance noticeable
Specs
Asus striker extreme MOBO
intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz
2Gb DDR2 ram
running windows vista w/SP1 ATM
