Just to inform pinkpanther i was able to get the patch work with the gtx 660 and gtx 750 ti. As how i figured it works is to find the driver location then edit the cfg in the patch file. I know it didnt work with gtx 660 and gtx 750 ti together which i got the driver signature pop up in the device manager even i booted in test mode and disable driver enforement. At one stage the sli option did pop up in the control panel but that was as far as i got before

I assume you mean having been able to patch the driver and enable the SLI option. That's exactly what DifferentSLIauto does, regardless of the cards installed.
After enabling the SLI option, it's down to the driver whether it's capable of combining your cards into a working SLI setup or just giving you a blue screen.
I'd find it very strange if Kepler and Maxwell cards actually could be SLIed, since their microarchitectures differ substantially.

Strange thing is i wasnt getting bluescreen just windows keeps telling me to install the nvidia driver after each reboot. But if i had a normal nvidia drivers i can see both gtx 660 and gtx 750ti in device manager and i can see both in nvidia panel as well it stated my galaxy gtx 660 is auto selected for physx. Even tried some bench marks to see if both cards doing anything it shows that the gtx 750 ti is in use but the gtx 660 did nothing at all. I have to do some more testing if any games pick up the gtx 660 and use it for more performance is another question

I got a similiar issue like the nvidia driver getting disabled after the patch is applied. I have a feeling it to do with the codes in the differentsliauto cfg file as you know the 32bits windows operating system are slowly dying and i just want to point out who the creator of differentsliauto clean up the codes it abit of a mess. How about make a gui menu that have all the defined location which do help alot then it automaticilly save the unpatch file and all the fireworks happens than having to go to all the folders to get the file name/number. As it just an idea to make your life easier

These cards cannot SLI; different microarchitecture (Kepler and Tesla)

Which instructions did you follow? Did you enable test signing mode?
Strange thing is i wasnt getting bluescreen just windows keeps telling me to install the nvidia driver after each reboot.
Then Windows bailed out of loading the nVidia driver at boot and loaded its own generic video driver. Could be caused by the incompatibility of the cards or by missing test signing mode.

Of course that would be great. But this is a project which was abandoned by its creator long time ago and only kept kind of running by volunteers ever since.

I had the test mode running during the time of testing and did exactly what it said on the tin about the path location, coping and pasting between files and other start up method i didnt miss anything at all

I have a GTX 550 Ti and another GTX 550 Ti (GTX 750 Ti bios, modded from China)
I don't have the hardware to flash the bios, since software flash doesn't work. I wanted to SLI these cards since performance is similar. I am on windows 10, april update. Nvidia drivers 391.01.
The DifferentSLIAuto tool gives me the errors
"[E] : Could not find patch #2. Please inform mgi125 @ techPowerUp! forums.
[E] : Could not find patch #4. Please inform mgi125 @ techPowerUp! forums."

How to fix this?

You need to read the instruction and i dont think modded bios would work at all and that patch error you are getting is based on location where the file is in used you have to disable the graphic cards in order for tge patch to work

I cannot test the following setups for the next few weeks, but should I expect them to work with Different SLI?

Graphics card 1: Gigabyte GTX 950 2GB
Graphics card 2: Gigabyte GTX 750 1GB

Motherboard 1: ECS Q77H2-M
Processor 1: i5-3470
RAM 1: 4x4GB DDR3 1333MHz

Motherboard 2: Gigabyte EP45T-DS3R
Processor 2: Xeon E5440 @ 3.77GHz
RAM 2: 4x2GB DDR3 1333MHz

I'm uncertain mostly due to the different vram's sizes of my graphics cards.

GTX 950: Maxwell Architecture
GTX 750: Kepler Architecture

So I dont think those two could work together is this SLI hack...

@P!nkpanther It seems that GTX 1060 6GB 2-way SLI hack doesnt work with GTA V. These two have GPU Usage around 40-50% in the gameplay and benchmark. So the SLI benchmark results are worse than single card with the latest driver (397.93) at that time. It's weird because I did this SLI hack with 2 GT 1030 and GPU Usage always hit 99-100%. My windows 10 build is 1803 when I'm testing 2-way SLI on the GTX 1060 6GB and GT 1030. Does it have to do with the SLI profile I assume?

No, both cards have Maxwell architecture. However, the GTX 750 is Maxwell 1.0 (GM107), while the GTX 950 is Maxwell 2.0 (GM206). But you have a point: this also can be a problem to make both cards work together.

sorry, my bad... but again, I dont think those two could work together... you could try for yourself, if that's work then really good for you, my friend :D

In theory it should work, albeit with a total of 1 GB of VRAM only. But don't bet on it, there are always combinations, that won't work out in practice.
And I don't see what you want to tell us with the mentioning of two MoBos though; both seem to be capable of running the two cards.

The DSLIA hack has nothing to do with the actual SLI of the cards, it only makes sure you always get the option in nVidia Control Panel to switch SLI on, by bypassing the (quite stringent) checks. From then on it's the code already present in the nVidia driver that does its usual thing...
It's a frequent phenomenon with SLI that very often the cards won't run at full load. Sometimes they each get limited just below 50% load.
I never found out why. Interesting to hear that in the same game some cards do full load, others don't.
I doubt that the profile has something to do with it, because they are not GPU specific.

So waiting for new SLI hack method on newer driver is the only option? :(

I don't think this will be improved by newer driver versions.
It's about games which are not well optimized for SLI.
And remember SLI is dying (supposedly being replaced by DX12 mGPU), so games properly supporting it will be fewer and fewer.

I just tried to make my cards GTX 750 1GB and GTX 950 2GB to work together on the system

Gigabyte EP45T-DS3R
Xeon E5440 @ 3.77GHz
4x2GB DDR3 @ 1066MHz

Windows 7 SP1 x64 (clean install)
Nvidia drivers 388.71 (without 3D Vision and GeForce Experience installed)
Different SLI 1.71

The Different SLI software patched the file nvlddmkm.sys succefully, but in compatibility mode. It seems the program is a Win10 version preferentially. I modified the file Install.cmd as is instructed by P!nkpanther in this forum and then copied the modded nvlddmkm.sys to C:\Windows\System32\drivers. Restarted my pc disabling Windows' drivers signature and the SLI option became visible on the Nvidia control panel. But as soon I enabled this option and applied the feature, the Nvidia control panel crashed. Now there are exclamation marks on both video cards in Windows' device manager. Also, I cannot restart the Nvidia control panel anymore, even after a reboot.

DSLI did not work in my case. But it was fun to try anyway.

...and then copied the modded nvlddmkm.sys to C:\Windows\System32\drivers.
Why?
At that point you're supposed to run install.cmd in safe mode(!)
It's important to follow the instructions meticulously. Otherwise it won't work. Simple as that.
And be aware that the procedure on Win 7 is not the same as that on Win 10. At least the location of the nvlddmkm.sys is completely different.
To see where the active nvlddmkm.sys is located: Device Manager → Double click your main display adapter → Tab: Driver → Driver Details
So you have to use the correct instructions for the respective OS. Mine are for Win 10 only. For Win 7 it's easiest to use DSLIA 1.7 instead of 1.7.1. There you don't even have to modify the install.cmd
I did have test signing enabled, but it just wouldn't work. I'll try the instructions you linked earlier
You haven't told us anything about your system and which steps you have done. Impossible to help.
Make sure to carefully follow these instructions, point by point...! And keep an eye on error messages.

Well i could say that windows 10 driver location is different to windows 7. But again that the dslia need to be fix for location like one for win7 32/64 and one for win10 32/64. It more common sense in my opintion

So after quite a while of getting this to work and SLI a GTX 750 Ti w/ a GTX 960 (because why not) I got the option to show up. Sadly though the Nvidia Control Panel hangs and then crashes around 80% through applying changes and then gets corrupted so I have to reinstall it completely.
I assume this either has to do with A. My 750 Ti is on a PCIe 2.0 4x slot and the 960 is on a PCIe 3.0 8x or B. (more likely) There was some sort of update to the Maxwell architecture between the GTX 750 Ti and the GTX 960 (says the 750 Ti is Revision A2 and the 960 is revision A1).

Oh well. If anyone has any ideas please tell me.

Differing PCIe slot specs have never been an issue. More likely is different memory bus widths between 750ti/960, which is known to cause difficulties for successful SLI.
