smb issues on windows 10

i have 2 desktops and 1 laptop and the laptop has win10 the 2 other pcs same. I tried everything really other than wireshark.

This laptop gives me network issues on both wired and wireless adapters, I can't access smb shares on other pcs but other pcs can access shares on this laptop and recently i noticed i can't host games either even with upnp on and using dynamic ip.

Can some of you help me troubleshoot this really everything is configured accordingly, network profile i connect to is set to private network and i can't connect to shares even with firewall turned off. port 445 tcp is open/listening on laptop according to scanner.

The basic things you can try for SMB, is the following:
1) Check if password-protected sharing is enabled, and if it is - make sure all machines are set correctly (alternatively - disable password)
2) Make sure all PCs are in the same workgroup
3) Double-check that network discovery is enabled on all PCs.

If other PC can see your shares, and laptop can't see others - it's probably one or the other. Wireshark logs won't show you anything useful.

Also, have you tried opening network shares from your laptop manually (e.g. "\\10.0.0.174\" in explorer)?

yes all of it, even changed the workgrup name from HOME to something else but still.
the pcs are wired to each other using a switch level 2 or 3 not sure probably 2 cause is not managed that I know of. it's a TPlink tl-sg108 8 ports gigabit.
other thing I can think of is that both cards wireless and wired on this laptop don't suport the 128bit encryption.

i tried other encryption bit even changed wireless card to a tp link ac1300 and still can't browse other pcs but other pcs could browse me, even copied a file to the laptop while on the new wireless card so same thing with new card. I'm trying windows update now.

Have you tried to activate SMB1.0/CIFS Client under Control Panel-->Programs and Features-->Turn Windows features on or off-->SMB 1.0/CIFS?

Because if your file server is old or running anything under Windows 8 you need this option.

I'm trying to connect to another windows 10, I don't need old version of smb. I'm close to finishing windows update on this other pc with windows 10 I want to connect, it's been a year since last update. It's taking a while been 40 minutes since starting install. anything I need to pay attention to? I'm sure with both windows 10 pcs updated I should be able to connect to the other.

good I got it, I had to create an account with the same name but also that had the same password or that it had a password at all I think. Don't know why my laptop with win10 can't access other shares if those windows10 installations don't have same username and password.
