Hello,
My nephew just came running down the stairs, telling me his Xmas gift PC just started smoking, so he shut it off. I took it apart, and found the stench & source of the issue is the PSU, but what im weirded out by is that there is Moisture in the PSU ... he didnt spill anything in there, but there is an odd liquid. im going to try to get a pic or two if i can,but i wanted to see if this is something anyone else has encountered?? maybe a capacitor or something popped??
thanks in advance, hopefully pics incoming. if for no other reason than pure morbidity
issue found, blown capacitor
