I like procedural destruction and lighting on volumetric smoke (was that self-shadowing?).
Also, I wonder how dynamic its GI solution really is? Does it rely on marking 95% geometry as static and pre-calculating crap out of the light probes?

I only wish the game was singleplayer instead of MMO.

I'm very excited for this game, as this will be my first purchase of Holiday 2014.

Definitely... With the exception of possibly a resolution sub 1080p and some texture "optimization".

I just hate it when they release stuff like this just because "Next gen" has arrived in the form of PS4 and XBONE. We should have gotten these kind of graphical technology waay back.

Hey... at least we are getting them soon. I'm in the here and now. Not too worried about what we could have had.

Yeah.. Already accepted the fact that we really can't do anything about it hehe.. It is just one of those "buys the latest high end GPU every year" user kind of rant (which I will cease to do.. or I hope). Meanwhile, ima enjoy some Dragon's Dogma on my dusty PS3

I will buy a PS4 for the exclusives that use the new gen engines like this one. I am really looking forward to seeing what Naughty Dawg and Polyphony do with the PS4.
