So cold!

Its cold and windy in NYC, and the cold air is blowing right through my air conditioned in its vent :ohwell:

CoreTemp said my E6420 with 1.42v@3.2GHz was idling at 18C haha...so I'm running Prime95 now to try and heat up my room. I can't get it hotter than 44C though :shadedshu In the summer I actually defrosted a steak by putting it on top of my case. Anyone else suffer by the heat their computer gives off, or use it for good when it calls?

I use my receiver, light, and laptop to warm it up....only thing is it takes like half an hour.

Yeah, me too. My back aches badly. I think we both go hit by the same storm, but since you live in Canada, you probablly got more of it.

MY q6600 is run at 3.6ghz 24/7 now and i dont ever have to turn the heater on in my 1000sq/f APT in kansas city. it also may be due to my dual 8800ultra's. LOL!
my antec 900 blows hot air out much like a regular house furnace!

....and like you(orbitzXT) my cpu idles at 16-18c if i open the windows for a bit.

Hopfully a second Ice Age will come soon so we can stop spending money on Cooling Kits and see all those Hard Core OverClocking Freaks Freeze them selfs to Death Trying to Overclock thier comps to the Max(no disrespect intended). Coooome Ooon Gloooobal Warrrrming!! :cool:

Fragging hot with the PC on here.
Can be heaps cold too tho.

Temps keep changing like crazy.
Eg - It was sunny today without a cloud in sight, then at 1PM it rained for 5 mins, then hailed for 10 mins and now its sunny and hot again.
