so the real question is will the same steppings apply to 4000 as 3700

    I could reach higher with a better motherboard. Mine fluctuates the vcore too much and will not provide more than 2.85 to my OCZ without a hard mod. I have tested it with a temp wire to the 3.3v rail to the memory, and been stable 3.3.3.6 2T to 510MHZ but it made me nervous and the chip wouldn't handle the voltage variation without faults above 3.1GHZ.
