He has two DDR550 (PC4400) sticks coming, that fast enough?
I meant for me. We can maybe both put some TPU #s on HWBot.

It has been a while for me as well I have two nice CPU pots to play with though. I do however need to steal the 3d printer at work to make a bracket for one.

I have multiple kits that do 500+ coming hopefully those are enough lol. Maybe I will have to add DICE to those as well.
Do you have a model of the bracket needed already?

Just dropped those off at the post office. PM with tracking number sent. I had a lot of fun with them myself. Like I mentioned in the PMs, DDR512 2-3-2-3 was the best OC I got out of them on my NF3 250. They might do better than that though even. I'd love to here more about the upcoming adventure you've got planned if you're willing to post some news. I've got a lot of very found memories of the old 754 days that I wouldn't mind reliving.

Good luck!

Soooo...what's the deal? Did you get those? I sent them 2 day shipping to the address you gave me. And I've been tracking the package for ~2 weeks now. Seems to be still sitting at the post office waiting for you to come get it. Its that correct?
We attempted to deliver your item at 1:38 pm on May 13, 2016 in {address omitted} and a notice was left because no secure delivery location was available. You may arrange redelivery by using the Schedule a Redelivery feature on this page or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this item is unclaimed by May 28, 2016 then it will be returned to sender.
Are you just waiting for them to send those back to me? Changed your mind? Only got a couple days left if you still want them. I said I'd refund your money if they didn't work for you. And you could keep them for parts. Just trying to figure out why you wouldn't do that at least. I guess I'm out a little less if I get them back. Well if I get them back in one piece that is. But I'll still refund your money either way. Just let me know.

Huh? I wonder what the hell happened there? Never had that happen before. That's just...weird. I don't know what to think. Sorry I guess. Just trying to help.

They showed up lol my post office is dumber than a box of rocks. Sorry I though I pm'd everyone everything arrived.

They have already been clocked as a matter of fact the first batch of dice I played with had them around 600 cl3

Oh and the athlon turned out to be the best clocker of the afternoon at 30xx mhz just couldn't get it to save the cpuz record. Will post results of some actual clocking when I get more dice

I have a DFI Nforce4 sli with a Athlon x2 4800 and 2Gb(2x1GB) OCZ Plat DDR 3200. The only issue with the DFI board I remember is the USB headers got fried.

Nice! :toast:

Just curious. What's the #1 CPU-Z record for that Athlon currently? I thought somebody got one up above 4GHz IIRC.

This guy has it at 3.2 if I can get mine to stop coldbugging I think this chip could do it, but we will see I may swap to cold water for more temperature control. The athlon 64 as a whole the max I can remember is the FX57 doing just over 4.2ghz

Maybe it was that 3400+ Venice that had CPU-Z validated records 4GHz+. One of those two did for sure. I could have sworn it was that Newcastle one. I would recommend that Mobile Athlon 4000+ Newark but the #1 CPU-Z validated for that was just shy of 3.9GHz with LN2. And it's just about impossible to find one of those these days anyways. Though they'll do ~3.2 on air. No problemo(with a good air cooler...with the windows and case open on a windy 40°F day :D). MUCH higher with water, DICE, or LN2.

Ooooh I actually found one. Not cheap though. About 2x the price I paid.

Ran NF3 for a long time with a 3800 chip. If you go NF3 be careful with OS selection. There is a hardware bug when using NF3 on 64 bit where it will crash without warning or error due to the chipset not been able to resolve higher memory addresses. It is not a problem on NF4 or with 32bit NF3. Been a hardware bug bios upgrades don't help.

I still have an abit NF4, and a gigabyte NF3 agp. Not for sale tho.

You might also be able to pick up one of the insane coolers from this period. There is a massive Thermaltake big typhoon that is designed to fit. I have one of these as well. Again not for sale.

Correct. DFI's support pretty much all of the 754 chips. I have not found anything that didn't work in mine. Newarks are not supported in my Abit board, just like your Epox.

I take it you don't have anything handy to give phase change a try? That would get it cold but possibly not too cold. That could take time though, not sure how much of that you have.

I am pretty set on ram right now would you want to split up any of that? I could always do for a DFI board.

Possibly on that one I will have to see how my ticket goes today.

I sold mine long long ago. Wish I didn't to this day, one day I will snag another.

If you're still looking, I have a DFI lan party NF4 socket 939 board laying around, a few CPUs and a pile of DDR. The DDR is Mushkin Black, one(or more) sticks are BH-6 and TCC5 IIRC. I have a sempron, a single A64, and iirc a dual core.

DFI board was previously used for DICE benching and has a coat of nail polish for sealing already set up.

Honestly, just shipping at this point. i need to get it out of my living room to make room for much newer stuff, unless you need the DICE pot too.

Whose DICE pot? I wouldn't mind another then I could play with my H8DGi-F a little more.
