Softmodding the Gcube 9550

I know that 9550 are overclocked locked (which can be fixed) but I just have a question will this Gcube Radeon 9550 be able to be softmodded into a 9700 Pro?

no, the 9550 uses the RV350 core , and the 9700 uses the r300
Just get the core up to 400 mhz, and since the ram is already 600 mhz, you would have yourself a 9600XT.
