Software To Capture Sound From Output?

I need software that can capture the sound coming from my output e.g. where my speakers are plugged in, so that I can save the sound coming out of them. Does such software exist?

I need it for a video I'm making.

I know the X-Fi can record what you hear in "What U Hear" mode. I'm sure theres probably some software that can do something like that for any sound card.

Edit --> Audio Properties --> In recording section, click volume ---> Select Stereo Mix.
