New House, internet hooked up, one phone rings the other does not.
[SOLVED] Old corded phone needs a BT 2 wire Ringing Adaptor to allow it to ring when there are in coming calls.
New phones have this ringing capacitor already installed.
Since setting up internet in a new home, when someone calls, only one phone will ring.
Both phones can be sued to listen, both phones can be used to call.
Setup:-
Two Jack points (one appears to be spliced off the one in the kitchen and touted into a jack point in a bed room).
Both Jack points have filters.
Jack point in bedroom has a cordless phone and router.
Jack point in kitchen has a corded phone.
