Solved the low-gpu usage on gtx470

I played black ops all night last night while folding on both gpu's and my CPU and didn't notice any slow down, stuttering or anything. So far these drivers have been great for me in every game.

I need to do a heaven benchmark here soon.

I got a few kernel errors? while playing wow last night... this was an epic 12 hour gaming session and the card always recovered without crash.. only happened twice.

Really? what framerate do you get, mine is about 50-60 maybe 75 in some maps

but in BO my GPU usage is still 65% for each card

Check the CPU usage while playing black ops, is it near /or at 100% on all 4 cores?
Or is it around 50-70% ?

Forced AFR2 (recomended was VERY laggy)
Both GPU 60-65%
CPU 80-85%

I recommend you to go to nvidia forums and check their threads, it seems like there is loads of problems with black ops specifically.

With 265.90's? Have you tried upping aa res and all the eye candy and seen if the usage has gone up?

Did you try disable SLI and try the games again?

For me, the gpu usage in BFBC2 is now around 95-99%

A report regarding SC2 and low-gpu usage

With the new Starcraft2 patch GPU usage is now ALOT better.
Aswell as the FPS is much better now when setting the graphics to Extreme (the new graphical mode, which is better then Ultra)

Wierd , but true, my fps went up, and there is no drops anymore in sc2 with extreme settings.
I havent seen my fps go below 60 now since i changed to extreme instead of ultra.... with ultra it could drop to as low as 10fps in really intense fights

Its supposed to work with pretty much all geforce cards, but it seems it works best with gtx470 and 480, it does not work at all with gtx460 for some reason

Works fine on my 8800gts's. Before bc2 had terrible stuttering and my fps were all over the place. With these drivers its absolutely amazing. Give them a go, it takes like 2 mins. If you don't like then revert back. Easy as that

Awesome, hope this works with my GTX 470 SLI setup. Can't wait to use 8xAA in BFBC2 for constant 60 FPS, hopefully more AA! ^^

You should easily be able to get that Shoot i can almost get that with my 8800's with these drivers!

Was able to bump from 4xAA to 8xAA in BFBC2 with these drivers and stay locked @ 60 FPS online. My settings are at max too @ 1920x1200 res, not a walk in the park for GPUs. Swapping the inf file initially was tricky because it kept changing it back on the install. Had to do it in about a second or two.

Still see stair step effect even at 32xAA in this game. AA must not work so well.

Strange, i play BFBC2 with 32xAA, 16xAF, HBAO: On and everything else on highest possible settings and i have very good fps (above 60), but again, i dont play at 1920x1200, i play at 1280x1024

What gpu usage do you see in BFBC2 with that SLI setup?

Seems to be working better than 260.99, hence my bump in AA.

1280x1024 is completely different. I used to game at that and I could max or almost max games with one HD 4850. One GTX 470 like you and for sure I would max games and have them locked @ 60 FPS.

GPU usage isn't locked @ 99% or 100% but it hits that often, depending on my situation in game in BFBC2. Need to try these drivers with GTA IV, Just Cause 2, etc. Games that are hard to achieve 60 FPS @ max settings.

GPU usage is high in BFBC2 but it is with 260.99 also. I don't see any difference in other games and actually I don't think there is any difference in BFBC2. Just tried GTA IV and Just Cause 2 among others and they aren't locked @ 60 and the GPUs aren't @ 100%. The map I was on last night allowed me to bump to 8xAA but still I have to keep it at 4xAA to keep at 60 FPS. Gonna revert back to 260.99.

Anybody tried the new 266.58's? How do they stack up to the 265.90's? I'd be curious to know as my 265.90's are amazing but it's nice to run whql drivers ya know?

Here's the deal with my GTX 470. I can't get the 3d clocks to max with 266.58, or 260.89. Haven't tried any of the others, I currently have 258.96 installed. Prefer max power is set in control panel. The two 26X.XX version drivers I've installed, I've had this problem when running any gpu intensive program.

Core 405 should be 607
Shader 810 should be 1215
Memory clock ok.
