I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl right now. I might be ordering this system within the next 2 weeks. I want to know some of your personal experiences on the compatibility issues there are, if any with these parts working together. This will be the biggest upgrade I've ever done before, take a look at my current hardware

Is the 700w GameXStream necessary for my build? Because if I can lower the price a bit by getting a lower watt like 600, it would be better. I'm going to try to make this build last me for a while, some slight overclocking nothing too big.
Ex. E6750 to 3.1-3.2 Ghz
Memory at 4-4-4-12 @ 900-950 mhz
Vid card core @ 750, mem clock @ 2000

Would this power supply be able to handle that system? I'm choosing it for cheaper price, even though it isn't much. Every bit counts.

This receives my stamp of approval  The only thing I would consider changing is the RAM... but since it's at a pretty good speed, you don't have much to worry about. I bought this G.Skill RAM for my current build this week:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231114
I love the stuff, and the stock timings are awesome! I haven't had much of a change to tweak them yet, but I did a quick overclock and got the RAM to run at 900mhz @ 4-4-4-8! Haven't had a chance to tweak yet, and that was on 2.0 volts too!
The rest of the system looks pretty good. You'll be able to Crossfire later on, which is something I kinda wish I had done, but evga has that awesome step-up program, and they offered Crysis and Quake Wars... so that lured me in. Good system tho, let us know when you get it built!

the build looks good man, and I'd go with the abs tagan psu. I just don't like OCZ for PSU's but that is just me...

Kind of off-topic, but for my own knowledge, what effect does not having firewire on my motherboard do?

You have firewire, it's just on a break-out add-in card.
