Sony Promises More PS3 Games

There is good news for PS3 owners. By March 2008 Sony expects 380 new Playstation 3 games to hit the market which it says should rev up demand for the console that has so far lost out to the Nintendo Wii. 180 of those titles will be launched over the internet. Sony also aims to ship 11 million PS3 units by the year's end as shareholders call for higher dividends.

Im happy where sony is taking the ps3, I hope it does good in the long run, I already know its gonna beat the x360 in the long run. But for now Ill keep playing some gears of war till I get some resistance in.(getting a ps3 in a few weeks) even though ps3 doesnt seem like its getting exclusives im still gonna get the console, its just a great console so is the Wii and so is the 360, i just want a ps3 more then I want a Wii, only because wii only seems fun with others, and the 360 only seems fun when online, ps3 is fun without the online play and even with that its..........meh ok not as good as the 360's internet service. but I have the 360 and Wii, just need the ps3 so I can be happy. and the new ATI 2900 XT card for my pc so I can play crysis and jericho,etc.!!!!! :rockout:

HaHa. I actually like the PS3s internet and interface. Xbox has the gui and interface dead nutts, I mean, lets face it. But the Ps3 has brought sony up to a respectable level with a few additives. Im hoping sony will streamline the sony live as it were a little bit more but still keep it different from the xbox service.

180 games available over the internet hmm? SO, is that like downloadable ps1 and ps2 games then? Alot of bandwidth and hdd used for that isnt it? I mean, the 60GB will probably fill up in 20 games or less <G>

I seriously dont think the Wii has more/better games than the PS3.
They are either not very good games that get away with it because of the motion sensing, or people's expectations are so much lower for Wii games than PS3 games.
Right now, the Xbox 360 and of course the PC are owning.

Sure maybe if they cut the prices befoce christmas as speculated, then maybe they can reach that goal?? If ps3 gets a price under the magic 500$, then even I could get one....
