I bought Sony PSX/PS2 Adapter for PC. Can i play PC games with Sony PS2 Controller?

I have a similar adapter as above, and I use it when playing PS1/PS2 emulator games.

Hi, if you wanna be certain that is being recognized you should use 360ce so the games sees it as a xbox 360 controller .
There is the controller settings section on steam too but with my experience with an arcade stick and a ps1/2 to usb some games don't work well with the controller settings from steam.

360ce is what I used for a long time to play rocket league. I have this adapter

Mine is similar but support 2 joypad.
Only problem i have is with the adaptor that see joypad 1 and 2 reversed and never figured out why and how to fix it.

I liked the one i have cause it has a N64 connector. I use mugen64+ and the deadzone with a real controller is so good.

I used a PS2 controller with a similar adapter in the past. It worked fine with ePSXe, and if I'm not mistaken it worked with the PC edition of FF7 as well. I guess it's mostly up to the game you're playing whether it will accept those inputs or not.

You'll likely be fine with emulators, but if you want to go beyond that, well you can try an xinput wrapper first (like the previously mentioned 360ce)... if not you can muck around with even grungier tools like joy2key.

Does not work in general or in some games?
If you go on windows peripherals and try to calibrate it works fine?

it's the same i have but with another name on it.
Mine works but i have player 2 and player 1 swapped .
Could be the left stick on the ps1 controller got broken and you have to buy one online.
In Windows when you test it does not work at all ?

No buttons or axes working in Windows calibration. I think it's bad adapter. It's better to use Xbox One Controller.

I bought another PSX adapter in my Country Slovenia and Sony PS1 Controller works perfect. Even red LED works. Now i can even play PC games with PS1/PS2 Controller and i don't need to buy Xbox One Controller S.
