Sony has reworked the original Mylo toy to now offer the COM-2 model or briefly Mylo 2. The new version has a 800x480, 3.5-inch touchscreen display and comes with 1GB of internal storage, 1.3-megapixel camera, 802.11b/g support and colored info-LEDs. This gadget plays WMA / PlaysForSure DRM, MP3, AAC, ATRAC, and MPEG-4 files as well as Flash Lite 3 capable of playing back YouTube videos. It has Netfront-based browser with AIM/Gtalk/Yahoo/IM and Skype support. Podcast and RSS aggregator, and an expandable widget panel with access to Google, YouTube, Facebook and other web 2.0 sites are also presented. The Sony Mylo 2 is shipping this month for $300 with free Wayport WiFi access at your local participating McDonald's until December 31, 2010.

Looks like a Wi-Fi Skype phone, with social networking funtionality, i.e. AIM, Yahoo! messanger, Google talk, and mp3 player, web browser, etc. Plus a bunch of cool features. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mylo_(Sony)

LOL, yeah that first one does look like a Wal-Mart toy, but these newest look pretty sweet.

I heard/read somewhere that thet actualy made a PSP-Fone its a fone that looks exactly like a PSP but the face slides off like this one does in the pic when u want to use they keypad....

no info if it takes UMD's but i probably suppose so.

its a cool idea but judging by what a flop the PSP was - this can either sink or swim. personally i dont think it will get very far as its gotta be pretty bulky to carry around, & battry life has to be pretty decent which i doubt it unless they have a mini nuclear generator built into it

The original white version looked like a kid's toy, probably because of the orange and white combination, but the black version actually didn't look half bad.

only for the Slim & Lite model though :(
