Someone dropped this off on my porch today. They asked me to look at it and tell them what I think.

I was given a IBM 2875-NAS. It has 4 PSUs. 8x1TB HDDs and what I think are two blades? I don't really know shit about server/enterprise hardware. I think 6 HDDs are Hitachi and 2 are Toshiba.

I would like to know what exactly I have in my possession, it's uses and what it's worth. Thanks a lot. Will be uploading a picture shortly.

+1 probably $30 each for the drives, $45 if they are Enterprise SAS.

lol a friend had an employer upgrading and asked if he could have the old hardware. Now here it is. I just don't don't have a clue how to use it though.

I dunno how many Pentium II and III era Xeons my friend gave me when his company was upgrading.... Office chairs too--nice ones--I haven't paid for a chair in fifteen years. Ask him for chairs, and at least you can sit on them, lol.
