Hi all, wow, its been a long time! And of course I'll pop up only to request some help.
So I've had this problem for quite a while when playing games online and talking via skype with my buddy. Sometimes, the sound of the whole PC simply cuts out, and can only be restored via restart. This happens irregularly. So I can spend 6 hours on skype with no problems, sometimes it cuts out after 20 minutes. Usually it cuts out once, but I've had instances where it would cut out five minutes after every restart, multiple times.
This odd bug is not reproduceable and I have no idea why it does it. It happens with many games from Minecraft to Sim City, so I suspect its a skype issue but I've found nothing through google.
Any advice on what it could be or what I could try?
