Hopefully not too soon. There still isn't a reasonably priced 8800GT for me and I've waited over a month already. When I'll get mine (in a week *crosses fingers*) then they can bring all the 8800GTS and 8800GT 256MB they want :p

Making 3 versions of the same already out of stock card to make it even harder to get and prices never to drop wasn't the brightest idea NVIDIA has made :)

That sexy sink goes to 110C while gaming ;) But it didn't crash! And I've read numerous active cooling versions to crash with stock fan speed in Crysis.

Cool, too bad the 8800 GTs are priced over AMD's 3870 and 3850 and that it's impossible to find one in stock almost anywhere!!!
Damn U nVidia for selling us dreams!
I'll stick to my aftermarket-cooled overclocked modded X800 GTO until the evil video-card corporations decide to honor us with their decently-priced products on time and in stock!

i agree, i have to order a graphics card somewhere else because they are out of stock in local stores :(

and it makes me sad because I've been installing 8800GT and 8800GTS cards into clients machines who have bought them (but not i have enough money they are all gone T_T)

I agree but in the UK at the moment both cards are hard to get hold of and both cards are priced similarily, at the end of the day though, the GT could/should cost a bit more........cause it's a bit faster! :D

There are actually 256MB GT's listed on some UK sites already and have been for at least a week.
