    Hey Guys,
Im a music guy, i listen to it at home, school, while eating, sleeping everything! Now here is the problem. I used to have 2 little emachines speakers next to my bed so i could listen to music at night. I live on the second floor of my house and my mom is right below me. My 5.1 Logitech system throws too much bass and my mom doesnt like that. Emachines speakers.. lets just say they are not usable anymore lol. So im trying to find me a really good and really cheap 2 piece speaker system. I looked at the bose 2 piece companion and they are $100! definatly too much. I need something in the $20-35 range.

you can get 5.1 headphones, but you say you want speakers so I think you should get some small jbl's. I got the JBL on tour, but they make computer speakers aswell.

I say keep the 5.1 system you've got and get some nice headphones. You'd get a much better sound experience that way. Turn it up when your mom's not home. Otherwise leave it turned down or use your headphones.

My system shakes the foundation of the house, but I only turn it up (for an extended amount of time) when my parents aren't home. If I absolutely refuse to turn it down and my parents absolutely want me to, I throw on my Sennheiser HD280's.

where'd my post go!? I wouldent go with cyber acoustic, they dont last very long.. well I guess you shouldent put em up very loud.

I had some black ones that crapped out on me in no time. I guess if you just want to use them at night time it would be ok, but I think your better off getting just 2 speakers without the sub to keep your computer area cleaner.

I really wonder where my post went... the fourms have been acting strange for me lately... can anyone see my post in this thread from yesterday?

Edit: I now see my post from yesterdfay.

he dont want a sub :S, it would just cause cluter and more bass for him.

If money wasent much of an option for him, I would tell him to get the portable mp3 speakers I got... JBL OnTour its super compact with real good sound quality. I got mine open box for 1/3rd of the price :).

I have got a Harman Kardon HK695 2.1 speaker set. If you turn the Bass down, it's practicly non exestint. I will sell em for $30 if you are interested.
