I had this problem with my old Intel 530 SSD 480GB after changing from a Asus Z170i Pro Gaming to my Gigabyte Aorus GA-Z270X-Gaming 7, my Windows 10 Pro was slow on boot, starting up things in Windows 10 but my Samsung 850 EVO 250GB worked together with my 1TB 850 EVO so I tried it in another pc and it ran fine so I dunno if it was a problem with the Z270 chipset or issue with my Gigabyte mobo that made the Intel SSD go kukku
Because when I looked at CrystalDiskInfo, Intel SSD Toolbox it was all in Good nick Life was 100%, I tried another sata port, even non Intel, another sata cable nuth worked sold it off to another guy that reported no issues at all so he got a good SSD for a fine price.

Last I contacted both Intel and Gigabyte, and we couldn't find any system errors with their testing applications everything was 110% stable and Intel contacted me personally from the UK which was awesome and Gigabyte was plain emailing.
