SSD or HD for my use

I do a lot of wedding DVDs ,so I have to process the pictures and make changes if needed. My question is would a SSD last as long as a HD,when I'm done processing the DVD all the files are deleted of of the drive. Looking at these two drives, need something reliable, just don't know if one drive would out last the other with all these writes. Here are the drives I'm looking at.
WD Black 500GB Performance Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD5003AZEX

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM)

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
All SSDs should have a TBW max. I have to imagine you can do the math and see how much on average you would transfer around per day and see how long that would last. Most SSDs today you don't need to worry about writes as its in the PB range before they die. That said, I have to imagine the performance difference between the two is worth your time and risk...

always have a backup!

Interesting that you delete stuff when you're done. If that's the case and 500Gb is what you need (not for archival use), clear winner is the Sammy SSD. It will make your system rock, especially when opening big pics. Not to mention insanely fast boot up.

i have both Samsung 850 Evo 250 & 500 Gb models, and they are great.

i use the 500Gb for MY OS drive, and it doesnt even come close to filling up, but obviously users experiences will vary, 2+ years of use so far. That 20Tb of writes is 24/7 use, but i dont work from this PC, its just average user stuff

For the record, an operating system on the SSD is recommended, but bulk work would be good on a 7200/10k drive for large amounts of writes to the drive...

Id want a 250 GB for the OS and programs and a 500 Gb as a scratch / working drive. Video editing is one of those extremely rare applications that actually impacts productivity.
