Get a SSD, it will improve load times for OS and other apps installed in it. The RAM you have is more than enough.

having more ram than you need or will ever use achieves nothing but with some games coming in at 40 gigs or so a 1 T ssd might be useful..

in truth for gaming and average use 16 gigs of ram is plenty.. 8 would probably do..

who cares if the OP is absent many others read the thread..

If you can afford it go for both, but the ppl here are right, 16GB is more than enough for games.

I have 32GB and you sure do appreciate the little things it brings like running one process consuming 16GB while having chrome open with 100+ tabs taking another 10GB, playing nfs under ground in vbox (4gb probably), transcoding videos with handbrake and dling stuff with qbittorrent.
