just got the game of steam for 3.50 thought it was a bargain playin it and i like the gameplay, sounds are a little naff but graphics are even worse is there any mods out there to bump up graphics? i got a lot of head room as im gettin over 100 fps with it on the highest settings cheers guys

Sounds to me like you definitely don't have the game on highest settings. You're must be missing some options because it's impossible to play that game over 100 fps with your system on highest settings. Search around in the options more.

what relsolution are you running?
and yes i do believe there are mods to bump up the graphical quality. the game is awesome without them though! the game play is extraordinary!

ok sorry missed out lighting length now the game is maxed out an im gettin no under 60 fps so still allot of headroom

and im downloading that mod now, an i game at the res in my specs

Between Sound Overhaul and SoundEFX, you can pick and choose what sounds you prefer within the game.

ive got the stalker complete an it runs beautifully other then at night right in front of a fire where the shadows mess everything up an i get bout 20 fps plus the sounds an graphics are quite nice thanks pps

even 20 FPS look high for me , i think you don't run DX10.1 , look to my system i run stalker with max setting and dx10.1 with 1280x1024 i get 25-30 FPS

Stalker ShoC isnt DX10 only CS and CoP and i even played Stalker ShoC at almost 80 fps whit the 2009 mod here are some of my videos
