Well if I knew how I would help, but unfortunately the only modding I've ever done was with D2, and that was just modding another mod ha ha.

It be good to see it finished though, its good!

I'll try to sit down and finish a large chunk of what needs doing next week sometime. all.spawn editing is just... time consuming and tedious. One mistake the game will either CTD or some objective will be broken.

Thanks. You have enabled & tweaked the GI? Framerate drops quite alot... Its a little odd, that once I but night vision on, framerate goes up...

FPS have always dropped a lot in Stalker with the torch on, can't do anything about that apart from OC the crap out of your CPU/mem/GPU to counteract it.

Yeah, beats crysis IMO xd

But looks definately good! I've played crysis a bit but it didn't got me "OOOH!" But the first time I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R., the second I walked out from Sidorovich's bunker... THAT was a breathtaking moment! And still I think the light/shadow play is top notch in SoC. For example, Fear 2 did awful job with the flashlight compared to stalker.

Stalker doesnt support hardware AA, your only killing performance by trying to force it.

Stalker 2 will likely royally suck... unless they use the Cryengine like there were rumors of. Don't bother playing Clear Sky - its shit. I played CS for about 2hrs and never went back to it.

There is lots of things I didn't like in CS...

Inventory screens
Low powered flashlight
Mini-map zoomed too far
PDA, felt a bit stupid and childish after SoC (the whole "whos-side-are-you" and "who-has-which-place-under-contro"l)
No iron sights on pistol

I haven't played it much, just got to Cordon...

What I liked very much

Better sun shadows
Far objects looked better and vision distance was greater, giving a needed boost for atmosphere
Overall GFX upgrade

The full TK mod looks better than CS, assuming you stick with the pre-defined settings. I really need to finish TK.. its just a case of time and nobody helping, everything in TK I have done myself.

I loved ClearSky, i love Shadow of Chernobyl aswell. There again, i love Fallout3. I just love them types of games.

I look past the flaws (we all know stalker is infamous for them, i mean you couldn't even complete CS when it was first released, lol).

If this mod is as good as you say Ket, im tempted to use it.

I played Clear Sky it was not THAT bad, Chernobyl was better though. However, I could see the reason why they were developing it, it is a catalyst example of the XRay engine they use, to improve the engine. As for the upcoming Call of Pripyat, that is a 50-50. It has come to my mind that if the next STALKER is crap as mentioned GSC is just slowing down just like 3D Realms and Ritual did until they wither and die.
