The helmet is not in cryengine in those images - the reflections are too good. The model itself may end up in game but the glass won't look that good.

Same here. My 7970 has been good to me, but I have a feeling running Arena Commander at 1.3ghz is going to wear it out! Come fall I'm just going to get the best card available.

Dump another 680 in that bitch man! Two 680's should be able to push it. As long as NVIDIA adds an SLI profile we should be ok.....Unless its truly a system burner. Then NO ONE will be able to run it maxed out to begin with.

Crysis and Metro 2033 come to mind. Nothing could run them at 60FPS sustained when they came out.

I don't expect anybody to be able to max out the final product, even on today's top-end hardware.
In fact, I'm a bit worried that my two 7970s at 1100 won't be enough for high settings at 1440p.

That would be sweet if I could get by with another GTX680. I really hope they let us start pre-loading DFM, before the 29th or it's going to be a mess.

Well, he did also say not to let that worry the folks that can't afford multi-thousand-dollar PCs, as even lowest settings will look good and run well on most current hardware... at least that's the plan.

About the game, the amount of polys these guys are pushing is great.
Too many times have I been let down by the low resolution textures and blocky models.
I want my PC to beg for mercy under the barrage of millions upon millions of Polys

Imagine them tacking on Tessellation on top of all these Polys!!
