My post referenced MP fps games and initially I stated MP FPS are not immersive. I then quickly edited realising there are some really immersive MP fps (or at least 3rd person) games out there, thus referencing DayZ as an example of something immersive. I'm not comparing BF to DayZ, I'm comparing two multiplayer games and identifying IMO what 'immersive' is. One can relate apples and oranges when talking about fruit.

I'll hold out for the season pass as well.. I never bought the season pass for BF4 and I ended up getting the season pass for bf3 when it was on sale for $15.

Agreed. I am quite happy with it at this price and both glad I waited incl. on the recent 33% sale and also that I got it now. It's really nicely presented and polished and they can update the content, after all (granted for more money). But c'mon, 35 is less than what it cost the wife and I to see Force Awakens when all was said and done.

She surprised me with the kickass huge Black Edition First Order TIE too...it's been an awesome Star Wars Christmas. :rockout:

Stats look much more promising right now; lots of people bought it during the recent sale(s) or found it under the tree. PC has been as low as ~2K in recent weeks.

Yea, I'm really enjoying the game. My favorite map so far is Endor. I'm playing it in Nvida Surround and it's nice.

I'm not saying this is the best game ever, but I can't say it's a bf4 reskin either and I own both now. The whole time I'm playing my wife and kids are laughing at me cause I'm saying, "Pew Pew Pew!" the whole time. I'm just amazed looking around at stuff and the sounds are really good. I don't care for flying, because I suck at it.. I wished it was more like BF when it comes to vehicles.. I'd rather them spawn at a base and I don't like the spawn system either. I'd rather spawn at a base or on my squad leader. I can't say it's the best game i've ever played either, but it's really not that bad for 35 bucks.

Played tonight for first time since beta. Looks lovely, plays well. Upscaled (at 150% from 1440p) but tbh looked fine at 1440p and cant really tell that much difference. It's a bit too frantic for me (a la CoD) but I'll play it occasionally. I know it's heresy to criticise it on this forum but it's quite 'empty'. It's def not a reskinned BF4, far from it. It's a stand alone SW shooter with minimal team work. One weakness is lack of real squads so you watch people using orbital strikes on people, not AT-AT's. At least in Mumble, Finners and I could save up specials for when the time was right. It's not a bad game. As Ben said, "Thee are not the games you are looking for."

So, I was browsing the Origin store this morning and came across STAR WARS Battlefront "Battle of Jakku" addon for free. I click download now and it took me through the whole process of purchasing a game at 0 dollars. Now it's downloading! So, if you haven't got it yet get it now! I just bought the Standard edition for 35.
